| Holistic Counseling Discover Inner Peace - Body, Mind/Emotional, and Spiritual Healing Our Goal here at Heathers is that clients can experience their own personal transformation through a mind, body, and spiritual approach. Clients can break out of their self-limiting patterns into empowerment through healing the whole person rather than single parts (mind, body and spirit). The holistic approach to counseling draws upon the behavioral science of psychology with cutting edge mind/body techniques and spiritual paths to growth. Rhonda and Lisa can help you achieve your goals more quickly and easily by tapping the healing power of your inner mind. We offer a wide array of effective mind/body techniques to help you heal yourself with psychotherapy, meditation, hypnosis, yoga, breathing, massage and healings. Releasing through the body: Sometimes serious emotional issues are involved with aspects of the physical body and we can hold our emotional tension in. If we do not release this stress it can manifest itself as physical tension in the muscles. Massage, yoga and meditation can help relieve this physical hold. Releasing through the mind: Talk therapy involves interactive dialogue to help clients release past, present and future fears and stressors from their life. Counseling helps clients develop an awareness of their emotional states and find ways to seek insight and personal growth from within. Releasing through the spirit: When we move into a personal transformation we find that we are open to explore our very own spiritual awareness, beliefs, insights. Meditation, Hypnotherapy, prayer, and yoga are great spiritual avenue. Lisa Torbert, MS, a Holistic Counselor, specializing in addictions therapies. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. WE ask ourselves “who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you….As we let our light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. AS we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others. Marianne Williamson, as quoted by Nelson Mandella |
