    Lisa Torbert is the owner of Heathers Holistic Health, LLC. She is a Certified Massage Practitioner specializing in Deep Tissue Massage and Energy Work and a Certified Hypnotherapist and a member of the National Guild of Hypnotisit. She earned her cerification as a Yoga Instructor from the Yoga Fit Organization and teaches what she calls Meditative Yoga, which intensifies the relaxation process. Lisa is a graduate from Wilmington College with a Masters in Community Counseling. She is a Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC) and is currently working with clients with addiction. Her son, Christopher Schellinger, is currently a Chiropractor here at Heather's.
    Dr. Chris Schellinger, D.C. Doctor of Chiropractic, B.S. in Nutrition from University of Delaware. Chris is a native of Dover and has since graduated from a four year intensive program from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. Chris is certified in Gonstead Chiropractic, which is considered one of the most respected, specific and effective methods of analysis and adjusting by hands only.
    Jesse Bishop is a Certified Massage Practitioner with virtually 10 years experience. He integrates into his sessions many different modalities that he has practiced throughout his career. These include but are not limited to Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Lomi Lomi (a traditional Hawaiian massage), Cranial Sacral Therapy, Shiatsu, Acupressure, & Reflexology. He also offers Ear Candling as an alternative therapy.

    In striving to keep the mind, body and spirit in balance, he also does Reiki and other Energy therapies in the form of Aura cleansing & Chakra balancing.

    With a lifetime interest in Spirituality & the Healing Arts from both mystical & natural world perspectives, Jesse is a devoted believer in the Old Ways . With a keen interest in ancient cultures, he pulls much of his philosophy and inspiration from them as well as significant influence from native Shamanism.



    Michael Moore, Acupuncturist, is a graduate of St. John's College and the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, MD. He has studied yoga, anatomy, physiology, as well as Eastern and Western approaches to philosophy, psychology and medicine. Other topics studied integral to his practice is Western medicine, homeopathy, East Indian Herbalism, and Western research methodology and biofeedback. Michael successfully combines Five Element acupuncture, which treats the whole person - body, mind, emotions and spirit with Eight Principle Acupuncture, which focuses on symptomatic treatments.
    Annette Kaplan, CMT, is an Aesthetician, Massage Practitioner and Nail Technician. Her special skills include  Lymphatic drainage massage, facials, wraps, ear candling, manicures, pedicures, stone massage, waxing and bronzing. Annette is mom to three and enjoys the family atmosphere. She enjoys helping people to achieve optimal health. Annette attended International Dermal Institute in New York and Lansdale School of Cosmetology in PA.
    Lydia Maitre, Esthetician and Certified Massage Therapist, is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage's 500 hour Professional Massage Training Program. Her training in advanced massage and bodywork include anatomy, physiology, and the clinical application of massage. She specializes in myofascial massage for treatment of pain and injured muscle, as well as deep tissue, Swedish, reflexology, and pregnancy massage. Lydia is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Lydia specializes in all types of facials and spa treatments. Married, a proud mother of two daughters, Lydia loves life and is a great believer in the power of prayer.
    Ann Gravatt, RYT, is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and fitness instructor/personal trainer who has taught hatha yoga for over 7 years and many types of fitness classes for the previous ten years for the YMCA and Kent County Parks and Recreation. Her certifications are from YOGAFIT, AAAI yoga certifications level I and II and Medical Yoga, and various fitness certifications and continuing education from the YMCA of America and AAAI, a worldwide fitness certification organization. Ann has advanced training in yoga therapy from the Himalayan Institute, anatomy and physiology from YOGAFIT and teaching the chakra system from the Silver Lotus Yoga and Training Institute . Ann teaches vinyasa style hatha yoga here at Heathers, blending instruction in yoga philosophy, understanding the chakra system and practicing meditation with the physical practice of yoga, helping to foster true mind, body, and spirit connection. Her classes help students by releasing muscle tension while increasing flexibility and strength, developing balance and promoting relaxation. “My purpose in teaching yoga is to bring to people the awareness that they have the tools within them to enhance and change their lives for the better. There is practically no better way I know to do this than by practicing yoga! This is truly something that everyone, regardless of physical challenges can do.”
    Doukissa is our Belly Dancing instructor who has trained with many of the 'big' names from NYC to California. She has studied the ancient art of belly dancing for over ten years and continues to update her skills in workshops and seminars. Belly dance is practiced in the Middle East at nightclubs, for visitors, or more commonly done at home by women for women. It is known for its isolated but fluid and feminine movements. The class is very relaxed, where women of any body, (size or shape), can learn the dance. Women should wear comfortable clothing and will need to bring something to wrap around their hips.
    Linda McDonald,MA received her Master’s degree in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Delaware in 1987.  Her work experience includes research in neuropharmacology at AstraZeneca in Wilmington, DE and Army Medical Research Institute in Edgewood, MD.  Linda began professional study of homeopathy in 1996.  Since then, she has completed study with the New England School of Homeopathy and with the Allen Academy of Homeopathy in Wilmington, DE.
    Kathi Naumann is a Certified Holistic Nutritional Counselor. Her goal is to help people feel better in their bodies and to achieve their ideal weight. Her individual program helps  people learn how to improve their eating habits, prepare better food, increase their energy and stop their cravings and binges.  Kathi offers alternatives to help alleviate digestive disorders, chronic conditions, allergies, asthma, menopause, and PMS.  
    Becca Halbkram is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist with 15 years experience; she is also a Massage instructor at The Academy of Massage and Bodywork and a licensed cosmetologist with 30 years experience. She has taught massage in South Dakota and Iowa.  She has knowledge in many avenues of Massage, Spa Therapies and the healing arts. Becca does Swedish and Shiatsu Massage, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Couples Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Poultice Massage, Ear Candling, Aviana® Mindful Touch, Warm Stone Massage. Becca specializes in many forms of Energy work in her massage sessions, such as Chakra Balancing, Polarity, she is a Reiki Master in two different Reiki lineages. She is trained in many forms of alternative earth medicine and spirit healing.  She also does Spa Therapies, Facials, Spa packages and Body wraps. Becca is originally from South Dakota and her journey in life has given her many avenues of knowledge in Alternative healing with Native American aspects.
    Jodi Burritt is a Nationally Certified  Massage Therapist and Registered Nurse  Her specialties are Swedish, Pregnancy, Warm Stone and Couple Massage.  She also does ear candling, reflexology, and facials. Jodi is a native Delawarean and enjoys helping the community maintain optimal health. Now specializing in Aviana® Mindful Touch Therapy.
    Tanya Spiezio is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. She specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish, Ear Candling, Pregnancy Massage, Body Wraps and Warm Stone.  She has been practicing for four years and has recently moved here from Kansas. Tanya is happily married and mother to a beautiful 5 month old son.  
    Donna began her yoga teacher training with Yogafit in 2006 and continued on to graduate from Silver Lotus Training Center in Rehoboth Beach, DE in February, 2007.  She received her 200 hour registration credential with Yoga Alliance in March, 2007.  Donna is also certified and licensed to teach Yoga for the Special Child®, LLC, a unique method for utilizing yoga as a therapeutic tool to assist children with special needs such as Down Syndrome, ADD and cerebral palsy, by  increasing body awareness, quieting the mind, developing strength and flexibility while teaching children to be comfortable with their bodies.  Donna teaches adults and children and is most gratified by how yoga and yoga therapy bring peace to her students.  A member of Yoga Alliance, the Integral Yoga Teachers Association and the International Association of Yoga Therapists, Donna is committed to continuing her yoga education.
    Mara Ormond has practiced yoga since 1990, when she found a tattered yoga book while serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal, West Africa, and began teaching herself. Since then she has studied yoga in several different traditions and was certified to teach in 2003 by the Silver Lotus Yoga Institute, in Lewes, Delaware.  Mara’s mixed-style Hatha Yoga teaching style encourages each student to explore yoga within his or her unique physical, psychological, and emotional context.  Her main influences are the Silver Lotus Yoga Institute, Rod Stryker’s ParaYoga, the Himalayan Institute, and Anodea Judith’s chakra work.  She is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level.
