Lisa Torbert, MS, a Holistic Counselor, specializing in addictions therapies. Lisa has a Masters in Community Counseling, and is a Certified Addictions Counselor (CADC).  She is the author of "Why Can't I Lose Weight? Toxins," "Healthy Kids Don't Eat Poison Apples," and has just released her newest book "Urges Within--Creating Healthy Addictions," a book targeting those who are struggling to overcome a variety of addictions including drugs, alcohol, food, sex, and more. She is also a QRA Specialist, and a Certified Hypnotherapist; a member of the National Guild of Hypnotist. Her son, Christopher Schellinger, is currently a Chiropractor here at Heather's.

Dr. Chris Schellinger, D.C. Doctor of Chiropractic, B.S. in Nutrition from University of Delaware. Chris is a native of Dover and has since graduated from a four year intensive program from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. Chris is certified in Gonstead Chiropractic, which is considered one of the most respected, specific and effective methods of analysis and adjusting by hands only.

Michael Moore, Acupuncturist, is a graduate of St. John's College and the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, MD. He has studied yoga, anatomy, physiology, as well as Eastern and Western approaches to philosophy, psychology and medicine. Other topics studied integral to his practice is Western medicine, homeopathy, East Indian Herbalism, and Western research methodology and biofeedback. Michael successfully combines Five Element acupuncture, which treats the whole person - body, mind, emotions and spirit with Eight Principle Acupuncture, which focuses on symptomatic treatments.

Lydia Maitre Dantonio - Licensed Aesthetician, CMT Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, is a graduate of the Baltimore school of Massage professional training program. She specializes in myofasical massage for treatments of pain & injured muscles, as well as deep tissue, Swedish, stone massage, reflexology, pregnancy massage, Medi cupping & body wraps. Lydia specializes in all types of facials & spa treatments. She also does Microdermabrasion, which is a high frequency for acne & peels. Her greatest passion is the love for her family and she is a great believer in the power of prayer.

Lisa Johnson Certified Massage Therapist: Pursued a career as a massage therapist, not only for the love of working with and meeting new people, but as an extension to her career as a Certified Personal Trainer and Professional Figure/Bodybuilding competitor. Modalities include Swedish massage as well as Warm Stone, and Ear Candling. Being fortunate enough to live and travel abroad is the reason why she lives by her motto of, "Don’t wait for your ship to sail in, swim out to it.” This way of life has kept her driven while family and faith has kept her grounded.

Samantha Thompson- Samantha is a LMT, holding licensure in Delaware and Connecticut. She graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in May of 2017, and started off taking clients through home visits and is now excited to be joining in on a larger team at Heather’s! She really focuses session times on presented client issues and loves to use healing energy. She specializes in therapeutic massage, deep tissue, Swedish relaxation technique, and myofascial release with stretching.

Ann Gravatt, ERYT-200, is a Registered National Yoga Alliance Teacher with 15 years experience and a QRA Practitioner. Ann has advanced training in yoga therapy, anatomy and physiology, Medical Yoga and the chakra system from various training institutions such as Himalayan Institute, Silver Lotus Yoga and Training Institute, Yogaville and YogaFit. Ann is also a nationally certified Rehabilitation Technician. Ann teaches Vinyasa style Hatha yoga at Heathers, blending instruction in yoga philosophy, understanding the chakra system and practicing meditation with the physical practice of yoga, helping to foster true mind, body, and spirit connection.

Doukissa is our Belly Dancing instructor who has trained with many of the 'big' names from NYC to California. She has studied the ancient art of belly dancing for over ten years and continues to update her skills in workshops and seminars. Belly dance is practiced in the Middle East at nightclubs, for visitors, or more commonly done at home by women for women. It is known for its isolated but fluid and feminine movements. The class is very relaxed, where women of any body, (size or shape), can learn the dance. Women should wear comfortable clothing and will need to bring something to wrap around their hips.

Tanya Spiezio LMT, has been a massage therapist for over 11 years. She chose massage therapy because she likes helping people. She specializes in the following massages: Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pregnancy, Warm Bamboo and Warm Stone. She also knows Ear Candling and Active Isolated Stretching.

Linda Leblanc Licensed Medical Aesthetician: A native of Massachusetts, Linda began her career in the heart of Boston. In Pittsburgh, PA she shifted gears and taught skin care and make up at a local agency. It was during this time she built an impressive portfolio of commercial and celebrity work. Linda brings her caring touch and talents to Heather's where she is known for blending a holistic approach with cutting edge technology. Using scientifically proven natural products, her facials are result driven as well as pampering. She also offers bronzing and all types of waxing.

Melissa Ebling - Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT, NCBTMB): Attended Harris School here in Dover Delaware. She thrives on healing people through massage and natural Reiki energy. She specializes in the following: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, therapeutic massage, lymphatic drainage, Neuro muscular techniques, and myofascial release. She is also educated in ear candling and active isolated stretching.

Ruthann Myers, CMT: A holistic health enthusiast who holds Certifications in Myofascial Osteopathic and Manual Technique, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Therapeutic and Swedish Massage, plus Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Energy & Chakra balancing. Enhancnng the Art of Massage and Bodywork through Warm Stone, Pregnancy, and Sports Massages, Ruthann knows that the effects of massage are not limited to muscles alone, but encompass all the systems of the body too.
